When loading a game from QDK is loads Quest3. uninstalling Quest3 causes Quest4 to uninstall, but doesn't remove it from the actual program files directory...

It will load using whatever Quest is associated with ASL files. If you want to associate Quest 4 with ASL files, go to its Options window and click the "Restore File Associations" button.
